Easy M&M Christmas Cookies

Easy M&M Christmas Cookies are a chewy and delicious cookie that is fast and easy to make, perfect for any Holiday occasion!

  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 3.4oz vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 11.40 oz red & green M&M's


  1. Preheat oven to 375F and spray a large cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Place the butter in a large microwave safe bowl and warm in the microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds or until melted.

  3. Add both sugars, the eggs, and vanilla extract to the melted butter and whisk well. 

  4. Whisk in the baking soda and instant vanilla pudding mix. Whisk until well blended and no lumps remain.

  5. Add the flour and stir well until no lumps remain. 

  6. Fold in the M&M's by hand and then scoop the dough by teaspoon fulls into your palm and roll into a small ball.

  7. Place each ball of cookie dough onto the cookie sheet and bake for 9 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  8. Remove immediately from oven and transfer to a wired cooling rack. 

  9. Serve once cooled or place in airtight containers for storage. 

Recipe Notes

NOTE: I use a teaspoon (not a measuring spoon) to shape the dough into cookie balls. The teaspoon is not leveled, but slightly heaping.
