Homemade Marinara Sauce

  • 28 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • 14.5 oz Fired Roasted Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp minced onion
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 2 tbsp dried basil flakes
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste


  1. Pour the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, and fire roasted diced tomatoes into a large, deep, skillet and stir. 

  2. Set the heat to medium heat and add in all seasonings, tasting as you go and adjusting as needed.

  3. Stir in the seasonings and allow the sauce to simmer on medium/low heat until heated through and bubbling.

  4. Serve on pizza, pasta, as a marinara dip, or freeze in glass jars for up to 6 months.
