  • 2 chicken leg quarters
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 2 1/2 tbsp homemade dry ranch seasoning

Homemade Dry Ranch Seasoning:

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Pour water into a 6 quart or larger crock pot and add in thawed chicken quarters. 

  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and dried parsley flakes to create the Homemade Dry Ranch Seasoning.

  3. Sprinkle the Homemade Dry Ranch Seasoning evenly over the chicken leg quarters.

  4. Pour bbq sauce over the chicken and spread evenly to cover chicken completely.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
