A comforting, delicious breakfast, perfect for Christmas morning!
Spray a 5qt or larger slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
Cut the loaf of bread in half and tear half of the loaf into large pieces, adding them to the slow cooker.
Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla together, stirring with a fork to remove lumps.
Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture over the bread in the slow cooker.
In a large bowl, combine the egg whites and milk and stir well. Pour half of the mixture over the bread in the slow cooker.
Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients, place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low 5 hours. Serve hot with syrup!
