Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut or rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pinch ground pink Himalayan salt

Optional Toppings:

  • 1 tsp peanut butter any kind
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp cashew butter
  • 1 tsp chocolate syrup
  • sliced strawberries
  • blueberries
  • blackberries
  • fresh sliced peaches
  • sliced bananas
  • 1 dash ground cinnamon
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp local raw, organic honey
  • 1/2 tsp amber agave nectar
  • 1/2 tsp organic maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut cream
  • 1 tbsp almond or cashew milk
  • 1 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tbsp ghee or butter

Instructions

  1. Place the oats and water in an Instant Pot electric pressure cooker and lock the lid in place.

  2. Set the steam release valve to the sealing position and select "manual" "high pressure" for 1 minute.

  3. Once the cooking time is complete, quick-release the pressure by moving the steam release valve to the venting position, using a long handled spatula or ladle to protect your hand and fingers from the steam. 

  4. Add a pinch of salt, stir well, and serve the oatmeal with desired toppings. Enjoy!

Calories and nutritional information have been calculated using rolled oats and 1 teaspoon of Wild Friends Cinnamon Raisin peanut butter, 1/2 teaspoon raw honey, and 3 blackberries as the topping (per serving).
