Crockpot French Onion Chicken Sandwiches

An easy and tasty sandwich, perfect for spring and summer dinners, and made easy in the slow cooker!

  • 3 boneless skinless chicken tenders or two small chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup French's Salad Dressing
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 6 Hamburger buns (or any bread)
  • mayo for the buns
  • 6 slices leafy green lettuce


  1. Place all ingredients into a 2 quart or larger slow cooker and place the lid on the slow cooker.

  2. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6 hours.

  3. Once cooked, remove the lid and shred the chicken between two forks. Stir the shredded chicken into the sauce in the slow cooker and serve the chicken on hamburger buns or your favorite bread with mayo and leafy green lettuce.

Calories calculated using Sara Lee's white Hamburger buns. Calories for these sandwiches includes 1/6 of the shredded chicken with the sauce, 1/2tbsp mayo, hamburger buns, and lettuce.
