We love a good sweet, tangy, spicy, mustard sauce combo so I mixed this up while back and it just became a hit.
I wasn’t familiar with Carolina Mustard BBQ until some searches online revealed that my recipe was actually just that, a mustard BBQ sauce.
Where I come from, the BBQ sauce is red, tomato based, and sweet. Originally from Oklahoma and now living in Arkansas, we love our sweet BBQ sauce around here!
However, we’ve also always been a fan of a great mustard sauce over smoked pulled pork or chicken.
