Happy World Nutella Day! Did you know that was a thing?! One of my favorite day’s of the year! haha! Time to celebrate World Nutella Day with my Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip!
Okay busy Momma’s and Daddy’s, this one is for you. This super easy almost embarrassingly simple Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip is the recipe you’ve been looking for!
I’m a mother of a two year old, I have responsibilities outside of my duties as a wife and mother, and yes, I work too, so I understand the panic and almost sheer frustration when your little ones come home from school and tell you they are having a Valentine class party and they need to bring a treat. Life is busy and now you have to add one more thing to your list! AGGHH!! Do you run to the store and send your child to their party with unhealthy, sugar filled and dye infused Valentine cookies and cupcakes, or do you spend all evening cutting ham and cheese sandwiches into mini hearts and then fall in bed exhausted? Oh, and you just remembered there is a wheat allergy in your child’s school classroom so those sandwiches you spent all night making are no longer an option.
While you’re mentally beating yourself up over that lapse in memory you remember you’ve also got to bring something to your office Valentine Party. Okay Mom and Dad, I got ya covered. Believe me, we all have those moments (myself included) so I have come to your rescue with this simple and easy Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip. You can whip up a double batch of this in under 5 minutes, wash some fruit of your choice, place it all on a platter, and you’re done. It’s delicious, a healthier alternative to the sugar filled and dye saturated Valentine candy, and you don’t have to stress and worry about the time it will take to make.
I almost feel like a fraud calling this Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip a recipe because can it really qualify as a recipe if there’s only two ingredients?! Thankfully, there is no crime against something being simple and easy because I’m all about taking the stress out of cooking and giving you simple and delicious recipes! Let’s start with the basics – and believe me, with only two ingredients, the basics are REAL basic! haha!
Start out by adding 8 ounces of thawed, frozen Whipped Topping to a medium sized mixing bowl.
Add in 12 ounces of Nutella and stir like a crazy person until both ingredients are well combined and no lumps remain.
The third step is to scoop this amazing Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip into a pretty bowl and take it to your party. Yep, that’s all there is to it! I told ya it’s almost so simple it’s embarrassing! If you’re not serving this right away, just over it with some cling wrap and chill in the fridge until you’re ready to serve it.
Now, don’t get so excited about this Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip that you don’t forget to add your fruit! You can buy pre-washed and cut fruit to save time or you can grab some fruit to wash and cut yourself. No matter what option you choose, this Nutella Fruit Dip will be the star of the show at any party you bring it to! This Fruit Dip is so light and airy it’s like dancing on a chilled, Nutella infused cloud. YUM!
If you’re in need of some fruit suggestions that go great with this Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip I like to use strawberries, any apple but a tart apple is my favorite for this dip, Little Cuties or Mandarins, bananas, seedless grapes, pineapple, grapefruit, raspberries, blackberries, kiwi, or if you want to get a little naughty with it, throw in some giant marshmallows!
I hope you enjoyed this simple yet delicious Two Ingredient Nutella Fruit Dip and if this fast recipe saved your bacon for Valentine’s parties, leave me a comment and let me know!
